A helicopter operated by Manang Air in Nepal, flying on the Everest route, crashed in the Lobuche region, injuring its pilot, Prakash Sedhai. The helicopter, 9N ANJ, caught fire during a landing attempt. Sedhai, the only person on board, was airlifted to Kathmandu for medical treatment. The cause of the crash is yet to be determined. Manang Air had a previous crash in July, resulting in six fatalities. Established in 1997, Manang Air is a Kathmandu-based helicopter airline known for commercial air transportation within Nepal, offering chartered and personalized services, including adventure flights and expedition support.
