Indian rowers clinched two bronze medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games. The day started with Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit Kumar, and Ashish Goliyan securing a bronze in the men’s fours event. Later, the men’s quadruple sculls team of Satnam Singh, Parminder Singh, Jakar Khan, and Sukhmeet Singh added another bronze with a timing of 6:08.61 seconds. India improved from fourth place to third in the final 500 meters of the 2000-meter race. Meanwhile, Indian rower Balraj Panwar narrowly missed out on a podium finish, coming in fourth in the men’s single sculls event. Overall, Indian rowers have secured two silver and five bronze medals at the Asian Games.
