Realty shares surged as some listed players reported robust sales for the September quarter. The NSE Realty index reached a fresh 52-week high, climbing over 4%. Leading the gains were Prestige, DLF, and Godrej Properties, surging between 4-8%. Domestic market benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty, also rebounded. The BSE Sensex gained 567 points, ending at 66,079, while the Nifty50 closed near 19,700, up 178 points. Positive global cues, moderation in crude prices, and optimistic expectations for the upcoming result season contributed to the rebound.
