On June 30, police in Agartala arrested 11 Bangladeshi nationals at the railway station for illegally entering India without valid travel documents. Acting on specific information, railway police detained five women and six men who were planning to travel to Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata for employment. The individuals were unable to produce any legal documents during questioning and are suspected of involvement in human trafficking.
