The Kerala Forest Department has successfully rejuvenated approximately 1,500 waterbodies in forest areas to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts. Forest Minister A.K. Saseendran reviewed the progress of projects initiated under the guidance of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The efforts aim to reduce wildlife incursions into human habitations and promote coexistence between communities and wildlife in the state.
