On April 10, AP-Transco’s O&M staff efficiently restored the 132 KV Gooty receiving station-Guntakal line, which tripped in the morning, by 2.45 p.m. The line was declared broken after a Y-Phase conductor snapped, affecting domestic consumers in Guntakal and Uravakonda. Power was temporarily rerouted through alternate 33 KV feeders, while railways received supply from the 220 KV Gooty receiving station. A team promptly replaced the damaged conductor and provided a mid-span joint on the Guntakal-Kasapuram village road to resume normal operations.
