The Tiruchi City Corporation is fast-tracking the construction of the Srirangam bus terminus, aiming to complete it ahead of schedule. Built on 1.08 acres near the Rajagopuram of Sriranganatha Swamy temple, the terminus, initially slated for completion in two years, is now expected to be finished by March 2025. The facility will accommodate eight buses, feature staff rooms, a commercial complex, and an auditorium with a dining hall. This initiative addresses the long-standing demand of residents and aims to ease traffic congestion caused by buses currently halted along the roadside.
