An IndiGo flight from Ayodhya to Delhi was diverted to Chandigarh due to bad weather. The pilot announced 45 minutes of holding fuel, but after two failed landing attempts in Delhi, the plane landed in Chandigarh with just 1 or 2 minutes of fuel left. Delhi Police’s DCP Crime, Satish Kumar, shared the incident, questioning if SOPs were followed. IndiGo defended the captain’s decision, stating the go-around was safe and the aircraft always had sufficient fuel as per regulations. They regretted any inconvenience caused.
