Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary Binoy Viswam has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting violence-stricken Manipur, attributing it to feelings of guilt. Speaking at a campaign meeting for the Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate in Mavelikara Lok Sabha constituency, Viswam accused the BJP of instigating violence in Manipur. He emphasized the need to remove the saffron party from power at the Centre to uphold secularism in the country. Other CPI members also attended the event.
