S. Somnath, ISRO’s chief, reported that the Aditya L1 solar mission is consistently transmitting data about the Sun. Launched in September 2023, the spacecraft monitors various aspects such as UV magnetic charges, corona graph observations, and X-ray observations. Somnath emphasized the long-term nature of the mission, stating that while observations are ongoing, results will be analyzed over time. Additionally, ISRO is collaborating with other space agencies on projects like the joint satellite NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar).
