Approximately 83% of Indian organizations faced cybersecurity incidents in the past year, with 48% reporting 10 or more incidents resulting in million-dollar losses, according to a report by security company Cloudflare. Web attacks, phishing, and supply chain attacks were the primary causes, with financial gain being the top goal for cybercriminals. The report surveyed 4,009 cybersecurity decision-makers and leaders across organizations of various sizes. It also revealed that only 52% of respondents considered themselves well-prepared for cybersecurity incidents, while 46% reported adverse impacts on their operations, such as layoffs and delayed expansion plans, due to these incidents.
