Bijith Bhaskar, who led various key divisions including cards, digital payments, and consumer finance at ICICI Bank, has resigned, effective May 18. ICICI Bank accepted his resignation, citing personal reasons for his departure. Bhaskar, a senior management personnel with 21 years of service, expressed his decision to pursue opportunities outside the bank. The announcement comes as ICICI Bank reported a 17.38% rise in net profit to Rs 10,707 crore for the fourth quarter of the last financial year, with net interest income increasing by 8% to Rs 19,093 crore.
