JSW Cement announced a Rs 3,000 crore investment to establish a new cement manufacturing plant in Nagaur, Rajasthan. The facility will include a 3.30 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) clinkerisation unit, a 2.50 MTPA grinding unit, and an 18 MW waste heat recovery power plant. Funded through equity and long-term debt, this project marks JSW Cement’s entry into the North Indian market and is expected to create over 1,000 jobs. This investment aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its capacity from 19 MTPA to 60 MTPA by 2029, enhancing its footprint in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and the NCR.
