After skipping the Ostrava Golden Spike meet due to precautionary reasons, Neeraj Chopra, India’s star javelin thrower, might return to action at the Paavo Noormi Games on June 18. This would mark his second international competition of the season, following the Doha Diamond League in May. Neeraj, along with his coach and physio, is currently training in Kuortane, Finland, with his program funded under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme. His training stint in Finland will be followed by sessions in Germany and Turkey before heading to Paris for the Olympics.
