Expressing dissatisfaction with the Kerala government’s handling of the land assignment scandal involving former Devikulam additional tahsildar M.I. Ravindran, the Kerala High Court has impleaded the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case. The court deemed the ongoing police probe ineffective and recommended further investigation, noting that no action had been taken against perpetrators despite the issuance of illegal titles. It questioned why no appeal had been filed in cases where the accused were acquitted and suggested probing officials for potential collusion and illicit property acquisition.
