The Bombay High Court rejected bail for three alleged members of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI), noting their involvement in a conspiracy to transform India into an Islamic country by 2047 and overawe the government through criminal force. Justices Ajey Gadkari and Shyam Chandak observed prima facie evidence against them, highlighting their participation in spreading hatred and pushing an anti-national agenda. Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad had filed a case against them under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
