On June 12, authorities demolished an under-construction YSRCP office in Tadepalli, Guntur district, claiming it occupied 870.40 sq. meters of illegal land. Despite a pending High Court writ petition by YSRCP to halt the demolition, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) and Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation (MTMC) proceeded under police presence. YSRCP argued the demolition violated a court order and termed it arbitrary and unconstitutional. The party claimed the demolition, executed with heavy machinery at 5:30 am, disregarded a court directive to pause any actions.
