The Indian government conducted its fourth tranche of auctions for 21 blocks containing critical minerals across several states. This auction included 11 fresh blocks and 10 blocks offered as second attempts from previous tranches, spanning states like Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Minerals such as graphite, Glauconite, phosphorite, potash, nickel, PGE, phosphate, and rare earth elements were featured. The initiative aims to accelerate mineral exploration with the involvement of private exploration agencies, supporting advanced technologies under amended regulations since 2021.
