During the UN General Assembly debate on the Annual Report of the United Nations Security Council, India’s representative, Pratik Mathur, rebuked Pakistan for its persistent mention of Kashmir, labeling it as “baseless and deceitful.” Mathur refrained from elaborating further, aiming to conserve the assembly’s time. Pakistan’s UN envoy, Munir Akram, had earlier brought up Kashmir, a topic India consistently opposes in international forums. India reaffirmed its position that Jammu and Kashmir, along with Ladakh, are integral and inseparable parts of the country.
