Visakhapatnam’s Pulsus Group has secured 5,000 employment opportunities under the Indian Business Promotion Scheme (IBPS), with a focus on 4,000 jobs for women. The company also received Rs 41 crore in viability gap funding from the Government of India, reaffirming its commitment to the program. Nationwide, IBPS has established 48,300 BPO or ITeS seats, backed by a substantial budget allocation of Rs 543 crore, with the aim of boosting sectoral growth and employment prospects. Pulsus Group’s CEO, Srinubabu Gedela, stated the company had generated 25,000 jobs over the past fifteen years, contributing a notable 5,000 jobs to the cumulative 50,000 created by IBPS since its launch in March 2019.
