Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has commissioned a 1,756 circuit kilometer transmission line from Warora in Maharashtra to Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. The project, undertaken by Warora Kurnool Transmission Limited, aims to facilitate a power flow of 4,500 megawatts between the Western and Southern regions of India, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources. The transmission line spans Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. AESL acquired the project in March 2021 following debt restructuring, making it the largest 765 kV D/C tariff-based competitive bidding project awarded under a single scheme, according to the Adani Group.
