Over an acre of agricultural land was lost in landslips in the Nedumkandam area of Kerala’s Idukki district due to continuous heavy rainfall. The incident occurred in the 20th ward of the panchayat, causing damage to a road leading to Nedumkandam. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or damage to homes. The region has been susceptible to landslips since the 2018 floods.
