Samsung has unveiled the “Auto Blocker,” a security feature for Galaxy devices compatible with One UI 6. The opt-in package aims to enhance device security by blocking app installations from unauthorized sources, detecting potential malware, preventing harmful commands via USB cable, and mitigating Zero Click attacks. While sideloading is disabled by default, users opting for Auto Blocker gain an additional layer of protection against social engineering attacks. This security tool also conducts app security checks to identify potential threats and guards against Zero Click attacks in messaging apps. Auto Blocker reflects Samsung’s commitment to user safety within its open ecosystem.
