Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Congress of corruption and historical distortion while campaigning in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. He alleged the Congress was maliciously trying to lead the country into slavery and emphasized the BJP’s commitment to upholding national self-respect and confidence. Adityanath also pointed out the success of the BJP’s “double-engine government” in improving Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, distinguishing them from “Bimaru” states. Madhya Pradesh is set to hold elections for all 230 seats on November 17, and Adityanath was campaigning for the government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the state.
