Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) working president, Supriya Sule, criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the “Bhrashta Jumla Party,” accusing it of insulting former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik and orchestrating a scheme against the Ajit Pawar group. Sule expressed disapproval of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s letter opposing Malik’s seating arrangement in the state legislature. Malik, facing ED charges and on medical bail, attended the session for the first time, prompting Fadnavis to voice reservations. Sule accused the BJP of trapping the Ajit Pawar group and emphasized the need for respectful political discourse.
