Tata Electronics is poised to finalize a significant MoU worth Rs 12,082 crore with the Tamil Nadu government during the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024. The state has seen major investment pacts with companies like JSW Renewable, TVS Group, Mitsubishi Electric, Pegatron, and Hyundai Motors. Tata Electronics plans to invest Rs 7,000 crore in expanding its Hosur plant over six years. The agreements, including Vietnamese EV maker VinFast’s entry into India, are anticipated to generate numerous jobs. The summit aims to foster discussions on making Tamil Nadu a sustainable and inclusive trillion-dollar economy by 2030.
