Microsoft’s Chairman and CEO, Satya Nadella, announced the expansion of the Code Without Barriers program to India. The program aims to provide support, training, and networking opportunities for female developers and coders. Nadella stated that Microsoft will offer skilling and certification to 75,000 women developers in India in 2024. He emphasized India’s incredible momentum in the developer and development space, projecting that India will surpass the US as the largest developer community on GitHub by 2027. Nadella highlighted the transformative opportunities offered by artificial intelligence (AI) in changing employee experience and reinventing customer engagement.
