Indian EV ride-hailing and charging infrastructure network BluSmart has signed a multi-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power Trading Company Limited (TPTCL) to source green power. TPTCL will source 30 MW from Tata Power’s 200 MW solar plant in Rajasthan, supplying it to BluSmart. This partnership will help BluSmart eliminate Scope 2 emissions from its existing EV charging infrastructure and future hubs. BluSmart aims to become India’s first mobility company to transition from zero tailpipe emissions to a zero-emissions company. BluSmart operates 6,000 EVs and 4,000 EV chargers across its charging superhubs in Delhi-NCR and Bangalore.
