The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has established a special division bench to hear appeals from former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher and Toshakhana cases. The appeals challenge their convictions and sentences in these cases. Imran Khan and Qureshi face 10-year sentences in the cipher case, while Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi received 14 years each in the Toshakhana case. The IHC division bench will address the appeals on Monday, citing objections to procedural irregularities, biased proceedings, and the court’s haste.
