The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision to grant bail to Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, emphasizing that “truth alone triumphs.” Singh was released six months after his arrest in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy. However, the BJP cautioned against interpreting Singh’s release as a “clean chit,” affirming that the judiciary’s independence was evident in the decision. Singh’s wife expressed partial relief, noting that other AAP leaders, including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, remain in custody. AAP leaders reiterated their stance on Singh’s innocence, highlighting the lack of substantial evidence and the ED’s failure to oppose bail.
