Russia’s space agency Roscosmos has stated that the recent launch of their Luna-25 lunar mission will not interfere with India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission. Roscosmos clarified that both missions have different landing areas on the moon, ensuring no functional or collision-related issues. Luna-25 is set to reach the moon on August 23, coinciding with Chandrayaan-3’s expected landing. Roscosmos has expressed openness to India’s participation in the International Scientific Lunar Station (ILRS) project and is considering placing a Russian payload on future Indian lunar missions. The ILRS is a planned lunar base collaboration between Russia and China.
According to the Russian space agency Roscosmos, there is enough space on the Moon for everyone
