Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced a significant 38.85% decrease in consolidated net profit for the March quarter, falling to Rs 310 crore from Rs 507 crore in the previous year. This decline was primarily attributed to increased expenses, which rose to Rs 2,379 crore compared to Rs 2,053 crore in the year-ago period. Despite this, AGEL achieved a milestone by surpassing 10,000 MW in operational capacity, marking a 35% year-on-year growth to 10,934 MW. The expansion included 2,848 MW of renewable capacity, comprising 2,418 MW of solar and 430 MW of wind projects, solidifying AGEL’s position as India’s leading renewable energy player.
