Precision manufacturing firm Aequs has raised Rs 448 crore in a recent equity funding round led by Amansa Capital, with participation from Catamaran, the family office of Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy, among others. The funding, following a Rs 225 crore round in April 2023, will fuel the launch of a new Advanced Technology Products (ATP) vertical focused on producing high-precision components for consumer electronics companies. Aequs, primarily exporting its products, specializes in supplying precision components to global aerospace giants like Airbus and Boeing. The funding underscores Aequs’ commitment to India’s manufacturing growth and expanding its footprint in diverse industry verticals.
