The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, plans to discuss the alleged injustice meted out to the state post-bifurcation and seek funds for the development of infrastructure in the proposed three capitals at a meeting with Union Home Secretary Ajay K. Bhalla on November 21. Chief Minister Reddy urged officials to highlight unfulfilled promises under the A.P. Reorganisation Act, 2014, and emphasize the need for expeditious fulfillment. Issues like the Kadapa Steel Plant, Dugarajapatnam Port, Visakhapatnam Railway zone, Bhogapuram airport, and pending funds for the Polavaram project will be raised during the meeting.
