Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has urged for an investigation into alleged irregularities surrounding the NEET medical entrance exam. Concerns arise as a record 67 candidates, including six from one center, attained the top rank, sparking suspicion of inflated marks. While the National Testing Agency (NTA) attributed the score increase to changes in textbooks and grace marks, doubts persist. Gehlot emphasized the significance of addressing students’ apprehensions for the integrity of the medical profession. Joining him, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged the Modi government to resolve students’ grievances through a thorough investigation.
