Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship, recorded a significant 90% annual increase in profit for the financial year 2024, reaching ₹2,696 crore, driven by a sharp improvement in EBITDA margin. The commercial vehicle major achieved its highest-ever profit after tax (PAT) in a single year. Consolidated revenue from operations also saw a healthy growth, reaching ₹45,790 crore. The EBITDA margin improved from 8.1% to 12%, attributed to better price realizations, lower commodity prices, and strong margins in non-truck businesses. In the quarter ending March, the company reported a 16.73% increase in net profit, reaching ₹934 crore.
