Avaada Group has pledged investments totaling INR 40,000 crore for the development of 6,000 MW hybrid wind-solar projects in Gujarat. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. The strategic alliance aims to establish hybrid projects across various districts, particularly in Kutch’s underdeveloped wastelands, contributing significantly to India’s green energy supply, reducing carbon emissions, and generating direct and indirect jobs. The projects will have an estimated annual generation of 17.5 billion units of green electricity.
