Bajaj Auto plans to launch its “biggest ever” Pulsar motorcycle by March next year as part of its strategy to become a strong second player in the premium motorcycle market. Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj revealed that the company intends to introduce upgrades to six existing Pulsar models, all to be rolled out by March, in addition to the new flagship model. While Bajaj didn’t disclose the engine capacity of the largest Pulsar, it aims to double its domestic sales in the premium segment to between 15,000 and 20,000 units per month. Currently, Royal Enfield dominates this segment with an 82.43% share in sales volumes. Bajaj’s partnership with Triumph has also added new premium models to its lineup.
