Radhakishan Damani of D-Mart secures the top spot, valued at Rs 2.38 lakh crore. The report, by IDFC FIRST Private Banking and Hurun India, showcases 156 founders from 68 unicorns, with financial services and retail dominating. Notably, eight of the top-10 valuable millennium-founded companies are start-ups, including Flipkart’s Bansals and Zomato. Bengaluru’s prominence defies the trend seen in the Hurun India Rich List. The list reflects India’s dynamic entrepreneurship, spanning age, gender, and geography, with Bengaluru emerging as a startup hub.
