Bharti Airtel, India’s second-largest telecom service provider, has reported a substantial 54% growth in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ending December 31, 2023. The company’s net profit reached Rs 2,442 crore, compared to Rs 1,588 crore during the same period the previous year. This growth is attributed to a rise in average revenue per user (ARPU), which reached Rs 208, reflecting a strategic focus on acquiring high-value customers. The company’s consolidated revenues for Q3 stood at Rs 37,900 crore, with India revenues growing by 11.4% year-on-year. Airtel also emphasized its commitment to network expansion, adding 12.3 thousand towers in the quarter.
