The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has urged the DMK government to swiftly address the challenges faced by laborers and farmers in Tamil Nadu. CITU State president A. Soundararajan emphasized the need for prompt action to resolve issues concerning workers in various sectors, including the unorganized sector, farmers, and government employees. He stated that resolutions would be passed during the State Committee meeting to highlight these concerns. Regarding the suspension of the transport employees’ strike, Soundararajan mentioned that discussions with the government would resume post the Lok Sabha elections, aiming for an amicable resolution.
