As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) showed unity before forming the next government, the Congress highlighted past tensions between NDA allies and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Congress claimed the 2024 Lok Sabha election results were a “big mandate against” Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of undermining the people’s will. Ramesh also noted previous disputes with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu.
