In a party meeting, CPI(M) Polit Bureau member B.V. Raghavulu criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for claiming victory in 400 Lok Sabha seats while alleging a decline in its performance in several states. Raghavulu cautioned people against what he termed as “false propaganda” by the BJP. He also accused the Modi government of using agencies like the CBI, ED, and Income Tax department against leaders of the INDIA bloc, stating that such actions were aimed at undermining their election campaigns. Additionally, he expressed concern over the alleged illegal arrests of two Chief Ministers, Hemant Soren and Arvind Kejriwal, without intervention from the Election Commission of India. The meeting was attended by CPI(M) State secretary V. Srinivasa Rao and others.
