During an election meeting in Sattupalli, Khammam district, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao highlighted the Dalit Bandhu scheme as a commitment to uplift Dalits from poverty and promote entrepreneurship. He criticized the Congress and BJP for exploiting Dalits as vote banks and condemned atrocities against Dalits in various states. The Dalit Bandhu scheme, initiated as a pilot project in 2021, has expanded to multiple districts. Rao announced plans to implement the scheme in Sattupalli after the elections. He also defended the Dharani portal and warned against the false promises of the Congress party. In another meeting, he emphasized the BRS’s contributions to Telangana’s growth and slammed the BJP for privatization and asset sales.
