The Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) has raised concerns over DXC Technology’s repeated delays in onboarding more than 4,800 campus recruits. According to NITES President Harpreet Singh Saluja, these delays, spanning over two years, have left new employees in financial uncertainty after turning down other job offers based on DXC’s assurances. The union has urged the Ministry of Labour and Employment to intervene and ensure full salary payments for the period of delay. Similar issues have been reported with other IT firms, prompting calls for investigations into onboarding delays across the sector.
