Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), a state-owned entity, has signed initial agreements totaling Rs 500 crore with Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh, and Vidhya Pratishthan during India Energy Week. The memoranda of understanding (MoUs) aim to establish a collaborative framework for long-term partnerships in energy efficiency initiatives, covering areas like lighting, clean cooking, renewables, e-mobility, and more. These agreements set the stage for implementing energy-efficient measures across facilities, regions, and communities, contributing to India’s journey toward an energy-efficient future.
