The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached 413 agricultural land parcels spanning approximately 1,807 acres in Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra. This action is part of a bank loan fraud case involving Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank (PMC). The seized land, valued at ₹52.9 crore, was acquired using proceeds of crime amounting to ₹82.3 crore between 2010 and 2013. The attachment is carried out under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
