Fever FM, owned by HT Media, announced the closure of its radio station due to evolving trends in the media industry. Ramesh Menon, CEO at Fever FM, acknowledged the difficult decision and expressed gratitude to radio jockeys, advertisers, employees, and listeners. The announcement on LinkedIn stated that the end of the radio industry is “closer than you expect.” Fever Network, operating Fever 104 FM, had implemented a 25% advertising fee hike last year. The network, founded in 2006, included four radio stations and claimed a listenership of over 31 million.
