Supam Maheshwari, CEO of FirstCry, experienced a significant decline in his monthly remuneration by 49%, totaling Rs 8.6 crore in the first three quarters of FY24, compared to Rs 16.7 crore in the previous year. The revised draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) submitted to SEBI disclosed Maheshwari’s overall earnings of Rs 77.5 crore during this period, down from Rs 200.7 crore in FY23. Maheshwari sold 6.2 million shares worth over Rs 300 crore in the ten days before filing for an IPO in December. He also included himself as a selling shareholder in the upcoming public offering. The updated IPO document revealed Sanket Hattimattur, co-founder and chief of staff, as the second-highest compensated Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) at FirstCry, with a total compensation of Rs 8.3 crore.
