Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl, former Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Business Officer of the merchant lending division at BharatPe, is reportedly set to leave the company in September. His departure follows a series of senior-level exits the fintech company has witnessed over the past year and a half. Bahl played a key role in the company’s restructuring after the controversial exit of its founder Ashneer Grover. He joined BharatPe in 2020 and is rumored to be planning to establish an early-stage investment firm, aligning with former colleagues who have also taken up similar ventures. The fintech has seen significant growth in its merchant lending division and recently acquired a majority stake in an NBFC to boost its lending business.
